Toddle Tykes & First sticker

Have we talked about Toddle Tykes?! Quinn and Amelia go to daycare there and we LOVE it! 💕 Here is Miss Amanda with her “friends” eating lunch.

And another great aspect of toddle tykes is all the positive peer pressure. They both want to be like the big kids. Q&A have been regularly using the potty at toddle tykes… but ONLY at toddle tykes.

So we made charts and hung them in the bathroom a month ago to encourage potty usage. We showed them the stickers they would get when they used the potty and tried to visit the potty regularly. We read books about the potty and played with a little doll potty. Nothing was enticing potty production at home.

We have been battling the ” Hand Foot and Mouth ” virus the past 8 days. Amelia is stuck at home with me while Matt teaches marching band, but at least she is enjoying one-on-one time. (Quinn got to go to daycare)

Toddler Beds, day 1

Amelia has escaped from her crib twice this week, so we switched both cribs to toddler beds. We thought it would be safer.

First nap with toddler beds today turned into a party. Quinn and Amelia both laughed and giggled and played for over an hour after being “tucked in.” I went back in four times to lay them down and shut the door again. They finally fell asleep, and here’s what I found.
